These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SuperVideo, a macOS application and associated website (collectively, the "Service") operated by Vinay Mora ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using SuperVideo, you agree to these Terms.
1. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SuperVideo on macOS devices that you own or control.
This license does not include the right to: (a) modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software; (b) rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the software; (c) use the software for any unlawful purpose; or (d) remove or alter any proprietary notices.
2. Subscriptions & Payments
Free Trial
New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required. The trial begins when you first launch the app.
Subscription Plans
SuperVideo offers the following plans:
- Early Adopter (Lifetime) — A one-time payment of $39 that grants permanent access to all current and future features.
- Monthly — $4 per month, billed through Apple's App Store, with access to all features for the duration of the subscription.
All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. Subscription management (upgrades, downgrades, cancellations) is handled through your Apple ID settings. We do not have access to your payment information.
3. Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all purchases. If SuperVideo doesn't meet your needs, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. Refund requests should be sent to hello@getsupervideo.com. For App Store subscriptions, refunds are processed through Apple.
4. Your Content
You retain full ownership of all content you create using SuperVideo, including recordings, screenshots, audio files, subtitles, and exported videos. We claim no rights to your content. Since SuperVideo processes everything locally on your Mac, your content never passes through our servers.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use SuperVideo to:
- Record, capture, or distribute content without the consent of individuals being recorded, where such consent is required by applicable law.
- Create content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
- Attempt to circumvent any licensing restrictions or access controls.
6. Intellectual Property
SuperVideo, including its code, design, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Vinay Mora. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved. The SuperVideo name, logo, and associated branding are trademarks and may not be used without prior written permission.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
SuperVideo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of SuperVideo. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the software in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to SuperVideo at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your license to use the software ceases immediately. You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the app and cancelling any active subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or website. Your continued use of SuperVideo after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of SuperVideo shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
